Terms

Estimates given assume that the systems are in good working order, if they are not the job will likely take more time and therefore the price will increase. For example –

Electrical work- There is means of isolation at the fuse board, circuits are correctly earthed, the circuits are capable of sustaining any changes.

Plumbing work- Means of isolating water supply are accessible and in good working order and piping is capable of fulfilling the desired purpose.

Any additions or alterations to the work, once work has begun, can be discussed, but may alter the originial estimate.

Walls- Any tiling, shelves, pictures etc. are to be fixed to plaster that is in good condition and able to hold the load

Any goods bought by the client for installation must be checked for quality and suitability for installation, and that the order is correct. Once goods are installed there may be charges to alter if fittings are not as expected.

It will be the responsibility of the client to dispose of any waste from the job. For example items removed such as toilet, sinks, tiles etc. will be left for the client to remove. Any other arrangement will have to be made in advance, and will be charged for. 

Payment

Payment for most jobs will be made within 3 days of completion.

Card payment or bank transfer are preferred payment methods. Cheques are not accepted.

For larger projects it may be required for half the payment to be made at the start of the job,  and the balance paid on completion. This will be arranged in advance.
